After a successful season last year for the OBU Rugby club, we are determined to build on that success and make 2016 a year to remember.
With that we are delighted to announce the coaching staff and management for all OBU Rugby teams in 2016.
Head Coach: Jeremy Little
Assistant Coaches: Jamie Williams, Bernie Upton
Manager: Pati Gagau
After winning both the Jubilee Cup and team of the year last year, we are happy to see the return of our coaching staff. Coach of the Year-our very own Head Coach Jeremy Little and outstanding Backs coach Jamie Williams both returning. Joining them is a  newly appointed and highly rated forwards coach Bernie Upton, who has joined us from MSP. Bernie replaces Paddy Gough,an OBU Legend, who has taken time off due to work commitments but will still be around the club helping out as per usual.
Premier Reserves
Head Coach: Graham Pitman
Assistant Coaches: Stradford Adams, Semina Manu
Manager: Phoebe Ferguson
Premier Reserves are again coached by Head Coach Graham Pitman and assisted by Stradford Adams (forwards) and Semina Manu (backs). Like the Premier team they also will be looking at building from last years success by winning the Ed Chaney Cup back to back.  
Head Coaches: David Jensen and Gary Hilsdon
Manager: Maree Chivers
The OBU Women's side will be hoping to go one better this year, after making the semi-finals last season. They are co-coached by Dave Jensen and Gary Hilsdon.
First Grade
Head Coach: Matt Anderson
Assistant Coach: Hamish Vance, Tim Poi, Mike Brodie
Manager: Marc Mirlyaz
First Grade will be looking to forget last years devastated news on missing out on the final, due to an administration error, and get back to the top with all coaches returning from 2015 (Hamish Vance, Tim Poi, Mike Brodie and Matt Anderson).
Colts Green
Head Coach: James Bailey
Assistant Coaches: Michael Barnes, Chris McLean
Manager: TBA
U21s will once again be coached by the outstanding team of James Bailey and Michael Barnes. With the recruitment of players who are studying at Victoria University this year and the core of players returning from last seasons team, we will have a strong core  group of players in this grade.  
U85Kg Bunnies
Head Coach: Gene Jacobs
Assistant Coaches: Arthur Flux 
Manager: Dee Te Ariki
85kg OBU Bunnies, our serious social team, will be hoping for success this season after becoming so close last year and they also will be challenging for the title in the first division grade. They will be coached by Gene Jacobs and Arthur Flux.
