New OBU General Manager Development OBU – Paddy Gough

This new structure recognises recent changes implemented by the WRFU which requires the CDO role to be managed directly by clubs in the future, with a growing emphasis on community participation and development through rugby.

The General Manager role will take the strategic lead and ensure a planned approach to Club Management, Player Development, Coach Development, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategic Relationship Management and Funding initiatives.

As well as his long term involvement in supporting various aspects of the clubs activities Paddy is well qualified for this important role through his organisational experience in developing strategic frameworks coupled with his World Rugby Level 3 coaching credentials and World Rugby Coach Educator certification.
