The coaches and management team are starting to take shape for the 2020 Swindale shield and Jubilee cup campaigns. Here is a quick update.
The new head coach is also an old head coach! We welcome back Jamie Williams to the role of head coach. Jamie played significant roles in the 2016, 2017 & 2018 Jubilee cup victories and will enjoy popular support from the whole club.
The assistant coach is Michael Barnes. Barnesy has been involved in OBU for a long time now including being part of the coaching teams during recent jubilee successes and multiple titles with Colts Green. Barnesy is also popular around the club so we are thrilled that he is taking up the challenge (with a baby on the way to add to the challenge).
Heading up the management team again this year is Hayden ‘Smithy’ Smith. Smithy is fired up and keen to make 2020 one of our best seasons ever!
There are lots of challenges ahead for the Premier team so we need to get in behind them and make sure they are well set up for success.
The Goat is already excited and is negotiating to be let off the leash early for the 2020 season!
There will be additional positions filling with the prems over the coming weeks, as well as announcements for the other grades.
