Hi Parents/Players

Rugby is back up and running. Games will be starting on 20 June. That leaves us with two Saturdays to get our teams organised.

This Saturday we will have a weigh in of the Un10, Un9 and Un8 sides and it will give us an opportunity to get the teams together and distribute jerseys and mouth guards.  We will leave the Un7 and Un6 to the following week (13 June) where we will have a club day prior to the first game of the season and distribute jerseys mouth guards etc. to the Un7 & un6 players.

Irrespective of us being in Level 2 or level 1 you and your children, if they are playing or watching when attending Boyd-Wilson Field will need to have down loaded the iDMe app so that you can register.  This is a simple process and you can go to our website www.oburugby.com  and look under” iDME Covid tracing instructions” on the front page of the website. If another parent is dropping off your child please register the player before they leave home.  The code to use is PINOR This will be strictly enforced.  The University will be doing audits to see that we are complying with the rules.

Our un12 team will be training on Monday night but will attend on 13 June.

The season will commence on 20 June and will go through to 29 August. Games will be played during the school holidays.

If you know of Parents who have expressed an interest in their child playing please encourage them to register https://www.sporty.co.nz/viewform/103931 and come along on the two Saturdays.  We are still open for registrations and I encourage you to get out and recruit the more in a team the better it is for all.
